ABOUT ME

In 2001 I was working full time doing bookwork for a company using QuickBooks. I maintained all the companies financial and payroll records and thoroughly enjoyed my job. The more I used QuickBooks, the more I learnd how much a computerised record keeping program is of such value to people in business. Over time as I progressed more with QuickBooks, I also experimented with MYOB and learnt how similar the programs were.  I started assisting friends in business with the setting up of their QuickBooks and MYOB files and before long I decided to form my own business and do it professionally. I felt accomplished when I had finalised a set of accounts, prepared a BAS or worked with my clients Accountant to finalise a tax return, I truly enjoyed what I did and thrived on bookkeeping and learning in the ever changing world of business.

I launched my business Well Kept Books in July 2002, studied hard by doing bookkeeping courses whilst working, and in 2005 attended a 2 day program with MYOB in Sydney and became a MYOB Certified Consultant.  I soon became busy consulting, setting up company files, training business owners and staff members as well as doing day to day book work for all sorts of businesses. I furthered my studies between 2006 and 2009 and was accepted as a Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and attained my Certificate IV in Financial Services which enabled me to become a Registered BAS Agent. In 2016 when I acquired my accreditation as a Xero Advisor.

I have continued to grow my business over the last 14 years and it has enabled me to be flexible with my home life and still meet my clients needs. In this time I have had my children and have had the privilege of a good balance between work and family.

I value every single one of my clients whether they are big or small, each and every one of them as enabled be to grow my business as I have done.

I love what I do.
